Today's Grammar

是 (shì) means "am/is/are". Add 吗 (ma) to the end of a sentence to turn it into a yes/no question.

我是我。
Wǒ shì wǒ.
I am me.
你好吗？

Nǐ shì nǐ, wǒ shì wǒ.
You are you, I am me.
