老师把建议告诉了我们。
Lǎoshī bǎ jiànyì gàosu le wǒmen.
The teacher told us the suggestion.
那个建议被大家拒绝了。
Nàge jiànyì bèi dàjiā jùjué le.
That suggestion was rejected by everyone.
尽管很困，他还是做完了作业。
Jǐnguǎn hěn kùn, tā háishi zuò wán le zuòyè.
Although very sleepy, he still finished the homework.
这个菜不但辣，而且很贵。
Zhège cài búdàn là, érqiě hěn guì.
This dish is not only spicy, but also expensive.
可惜他咳嗽了，来不及参加聚会。
Kěxī tā késou le, láibují cānjiā jùhuì.
What a pity, he coughed and couldn't make it to the party in time.
