"东风破" (East Wind Breaks), released in 2003 by Jay Chou (周杰伦) on the album 叶惠美, with lyrics by Vincent Fang (方文山), is considered one of the pioneering songs of the "Chinese-style" (中国风) genre that fused classical Chinese instrumentation with modern pop.
